In 2022 we benefitted from grants from Stockton Borough’s “Physical Activity Fund 50+” which helped fund our Bowls 4 Beginners course and from Local Giving’s “Magic Little Grants” which enabled us to purchase small bowls for use by juniors and also by disabled adults. Thanks to both these organisations and our sponsors (see below)
Next season we invite you to try BowlsBash – a new form of bowls – fun, sociable and for everyone. Click here to find out more.
Our excellent facilities are situated in Norton, Stockton-on-Tees in the middle of the Sports Complex on Station Road run by Norton Sports Charity. Our aim is to promote and provide Flat Lawn Green Bowling amenities for all. To this end we hold an annual free Bowls 4 Beginners course. To find us click here or to get directions click here The Green is normally available daily from mid-April until early September each year for ad-hoc play or participating in the various local Leagues in which we have entered teams. On Monday evenings and Tuesday afternoons there is a “roll-up” event for all and we also arrange regular social bowling events and annual in-house competitions for Club Members. Bar and Functions requirements are catered for at the on-site Moline Cross which is open to the general public. Out of season events are arranged at intervals to enable Members to keep contact with each other and currently Indoor Bowls Sessions and Carpet Bowls happen weekly. The following sponsors are thanked for their continued support:
