Norton Bowling Club is a friendly, inclusive club which was established in 1949 and can boast two World Champions amongst past members.We welcome everyone, from complete novices to experienced bowlers looking for a new challenge.

To find out if you would like to take up bowling as a pastime, we can offer you four free accompanied taster sessions or a free place on our annual 6 week course held by our qualified Coaches. Click here to find out about Tuition & Coaching.
Spectators are always welcome to visit us, but to avoid disappointment please check the Calendar page of our website to make sure that we will be playing at home when you visit!

We play in the following Leagues:

  • Mid-Week Mixed Triples – Wednesday PM
  • Teesside Ladies League – Thursday PM
  • Cleveland & Teesside Bowling League Triples section – Thursday evening
  • Teesside Veterans League (Teams A, C & D) – Friday PM
  • Stockton & District Mixed Triples – Friday evening
  • Cleveland & Teesside Bowling League  Fours – Saturday PM

One of our famous members – Norma Shaw
Norma Shaw, by common consent England’s greatest woman bowler, won 26 national titles between 1976 and 1998, and won the women’s world singles title both indoors and out. Click here to find out more about her.
